Delete your Kontrol Finance account

You only have an account if you signed in with Google in the app. Without an account, your data never left your phone.

Option 1

From the app

  1. Open Kontrol Finance and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete my account and data.
  3. Tap Delete my account and cloud data and confirm.
  4. Choose your Google account again to confirm it is you. The account is deleted right away.
Option 2

Without the app

up to 20 business days
  1. Write to contacto@starslapse.com from your Google account's email address.
  2. Subject: Delete my Kontrol Finance account.
  3. We reply to confirm the request is yours.
  4. We delete your account and your data within 20 business days and let you know by email.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, photo, usage dates and subscription status.
  • All your backed-up data: transactions, accounts, cards, debts, goals, recurring payments, investments and crypto.
  • Your debt photos and any receipt photos you uploaded.
  • Your support reports, with their messages and images.
  • Your sign-in user.

What is kept

  • The date your free month started, linked to your Google account's numeric identifier, without your name, email or financial data. It keeps the free trial from restarting if you create an account again.
  • Your phone's free month record: an anonymous code with the start date, not linked to your account, so the free month does not restart.
  • Google Play keeps its own record of your purchases, according to its own policy.
  • The data on your phone is not touched: it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings.

Your subscription is not cancelled automatically. Cancel it in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › Kontrol Finance.
